- Couple / Customer: the natural person(s) who order the Service for purposes outside their trade, business, craft or profession (a consumer). The Service is offered to consumers only (see section 5, point 8).
- Guest: a person to whom the Couple sends the link to the invitation.

- Invitation: the invitation, without watermark and ready to send to Guests, that goes live immediately after payment, with its own link and a reply (RSVP) function. It is digital content not supplied on a tangible medium. The hosting and the receipt of replies during the availability period (section 6.2) are a related digital service.

- Occasion invitation: an invitation for an event that is not a wedding (christening, naming ceremony, birthday, graduation, baby shower). For an Occasion invitation, “the day of the wedding” in these Terms means the day of the event given in the invitation.

3. Products and prices

| Signature invitation | all of the above with an interactive template (the opening starts with the Guest’s action) |
| Occasion invitation | the chosen occasion template, with the same functions as above |
| Save the Date | a preview on the same link, which the Couple can switch to the invitation with one click |
| Thank-you page | photo, text and optional album link after the wedding, on the same link |
| Shared photo album | own upload page and QR code: Guests upload photos and videos without logging in (section 6.3) |

- Prices are shown on the “Prices” page and in the cart before you pay. They are one-off prices, shown as gross prices, that is, they include value added tax (VAT). The cart and the payment page show the total in the currency of your payment.
- In one order, the invitation with the highest price is charged in full and each further invitation with a 30% discount.
- Discount code: can be redeemed in the cart under the conditions shown with the code. One code can be used in one order.
- The price does not depend on the number of Guests. There is no subscription and no monthly fee. The price valid at the time of the order is the price shown in the cart.
- Currency. Prices are shown in euro (EUR). Customers in Romania can pay in Romanian leu (RON) and customers in Poland in Polish zloty (PLN); a switch to EUR is possible. The cart shows the currency before you pay. If you pay with a card issued in another currency, your bank may apply its own exchange rate and fees, which we do not control.
- VAT. Prices are gross prices and include VAT. The amount and the rate of the VAT are shown on the invoice. We apply the rate according to the VAT rules. To show how the VAT was determined, we record your billing country, the country of your payment card and the country of your internet connection when you order (see the Privacy notice, section 5).
- If a clearly wrong price appears on the website (for example 0 or a price that is off by a factor of ten, without a discount code), the Provider is not obliged to perform at that price. The Provider informs the Couple and, unless the Couple wants the correct price, refunds what has been paid.
4. Account
- The Editor and the Watermarked preview can be used without an Account; the draft is then stored only in the Couple’s browser.
- An Account is needed for payment and for receiving the Guests’ replies. It is created at the latest when you pay: in the cart, besides the billing details, you enter an e-mail address and a password. The Provider sends a confirmation e-mail.
- The Couple is responsible for keeping the password secret. If you notice unauthorised access, write to us at once.
- The Couple can delete the Account at any time on the “My account” page. Invitations, Guests’ replies and planner data are deleted with it. Accounting data about paid orders is kept for the period required by law (Privacy notice).
5. How the contract is made (distance contract, online)
- The Couple creates the invitation in the Editor and looks at the Watermarked preview. Using the Editor and the preview is free and does not create a contract.
- The Couple puts the invitation in the cart. In the cart, you can choose Add-ons and Planner tools, redeem a discount code, choose your country and currency, and enter your billing details.
- Correcting mistakes: before payment, you can change any data in the Editor, remove items from the cart, and check the total in the cart and again on the payment page.
- Directly above the payment button, the Provider states that by placing the order you accept these Terms, that your data is handled according to the Privacy notice, and that the right of withdrawal (section 8) applies, with a link to each. You do not have to tick a box.
- The order button clearly shows that placing the order obliges you to pay, and takes you to the payment page of Stripe. The contract is made when the payment succeeds. If the total is 0 because of a discount code, the contract is made when you press the “Order (0)” button.
- Language of the contract: the contract is made in the language of the website version you used to place the order. The other language versions of these Terms are provided for your information and have the same meaning. The Provider stores the contract electronically. The Provider is not subject to a code of conduct.
- Confirmation on a durable medium: after a successful payment, the Provider immediately sends an e-mail to the address of the Couple. It contains the link to the invitation (and the access code, if any), the ordered items and the total, the information on the right of withdrawal (section 8) with the model withdrawal form, and these Terms. The Provider records the time of the order with the order. The invoice is sent by Számlázz.hu in a separate e-mail. If the confirmation does not arrive within 48 hours, the Couple is no longer bound by the order; please also check the spam folder and tell us at [email protected].
- Consumers only: the Provider sells only to consumers (section 2). If you order for your trade, business, craft or profession, you may not use the Service; tell us at [email protected], and we will cancel the order and refund what you paid.
6. Payment, invoicing, delivery
6.1 Payment and invoice
- Payment is made through Stripe Checkout (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., Ireland), with the payment methods offered on the payment page. These include payment card, and Apple Pay and Google Pay where your device supports them; for customers in Poland, BLIK and Przelewy24 too. We do not see or store your card data.
- After a successful payment, the Provider issues an invoice automatically in the Számlázz.hu system (KBOSS.hu Kft.) using the billing data from the cart, and sends it to you by e-mail as a PDF, in the language and in the currency of your order. No invoice is issued for an order with a total of 0.
- If we refund you, the money goes back to the same payment instrument, in the currency in which you paid, and the Provider issues a credit note (a cancelling invoice). We do not deduct Stripe’s fee from a refund to a consumer. If your bank keeps your account in another currency, we cannot influence the exchange rate or the fees your bank applies.
6.2 Delivery and availability of the Invitation
- The Invitation goes live immediately after successful payment, without watermark. You receive the link on the page after payment and by e-mail. With this, the digital content has been supplied.
- Corrections after purchase: until the day of the wedding, the Couple can change the content of the Invitation (texts, times, venue, programme, images, questions) free of charge in the Editor. The link does not change; Guests always see the latest version.
- We help by e-mail free of charge if the Couple gets stuck.
- The Invitation is available from going live until 12 months after the day of the wedding; after that its content and images are deleted. The Guests’ replies are deleted 90 days after the wedding (Annex 1); before that the Couple can download them as a spreadsheet from the Account. The Couple can delete the Invitation and the Account earlier.
- Faults in the way a messaging app (for example Messenger, Viber, WhatsApp) shows the link, or in a Guest’s device or internet connection, are not the Provider’s fault.
6.3 Add-ons and Planner tools
- The Save the Date and the Thank-you page switch on at the Invitation immediately after payment; the Couple sets in the Account what Guests see. The Save the Date is recommended only if the wedding is more than 4 months away; the cart says so.
- Shared photo album: created automatically after successful payment, with the Couple’s names and the wedding date given in the Invitation (it cannot be bought without a date). On its own, it is created with the name and date given at purchase (the date may be at most two weeks in the past). It cannot be bought for a wedding whose upload period has already ended. If the Couple changes the date of the Invitation, the deadlines follow the new date only while nobody has uploaded to the album yet. The Account shows the upload link and a printable QR code. Guests can upload photos (up to 25 MB per file) and videos (up to 95 MB per file) without logging in or installing an app until the end of the 30th day after the day of the wedding (Budapest time, Europe/Budapest); the total size of an album is limited to 20 GB. The Couple sets whether Guests can see each other’s uploads (default: yes) and can delete any file. The Provider deletes the uploaded files automatically and permanently on the 60th day (2 months) after the day of the wedding; before that, the Couple can download them in one go (as ZIP files) and receives an e-mail reminder 14 days before deletion. The Couple is responsible for keeping downloaded files.
- The Planner tools are available in the Account immediately after payment, on every device. Their data stays until the Account is deleted or the Couple deletes it.
7. The content of the Invitation and the Couple’s responsibility
- The Couple is responsible for having the right to use the texts and photos uploaded and for the use not infringing the copyright, personality or other rights of a third party. If another person is in a photo, the Couple is responsible for that person’s consent.
- Music cannot be uploaded to Invitations. Song requests from Guests: if the Couple asks such a question, the Guest gives only the title and artist as text; the Invitation does not play the requested song.
- Notice and removal: illegal content can be reported at [email protected]. The Provider acts without undue delay after a report. As an intermediary (hosting) service, the Provider is not liable for content uploaded by the Couple if it has no actual knowledge of the infringement and removes the content without delay once it has such knowledge. This address is also the point of contact for authorities and for users under the Digital Services Act (Regulation (EU) 2022/2065). You can write to us in English, in Hungarian, and in the language of the website version you ordered in.
- It is forbidden to use the Invitation for unlawful or offensive content or for unsolicited advertising. In such a case the Provider may suspend the Invitation.
- Content of the Shared photo album: the person uploading and the Couple are responsible for photos and videos uploaded by Guests; the Couple can delete from the album at any time. Illegal uploads can be reported at the address above.
- Guest data: for the data of Guests, the Couple is the controller and the Provider is the processor. The relationship is governed by Annex 1 (Article 28 GDPR), which becomes part of the contract when you accept these Terms.
8. Right of withdrawal
8.1 General rule
A consumer may withdraw from the contract within 14 days from the day the contract is made, without giving any reason. You can withdraw in any of these ways:
- on the website, with the “withdraw from contract here” function and then the “confirm withdrawal” function (the link is in the footer of every page and in the order confirmation e-mail);
- by e-mail to [email protected];
- by post to the registered office in section 1;
- with the model withdrawal form in Annex 2, or any other unequivocal statement.
When you withdraw with the website function, we send you an acknowledgement of receipt by e-mail (on a durable medium) without undue delay. The Provider refunds the price you paid within 14 days of receiving your statement. The standard information on the right of withdrawal is in the separate document Withdrawal information and model form.
8.2 The right of withdrawal remains after payment
The Invitation, the Add-ons and the Planner tools become available immediately after payment. Even so, the Provider does not ask you to give up your right of withdrawal before you pay: you can withdraw within the 14 days of section 8.1 even if you have already used the Invitation, the Add-on or the Planner tool. After a withdrawal, the Provider refunds the price paid in full, without deductions, as described in section 6.1. With the withdrawal the contract ends: when the refund is made, the link of the Invitation is switched off (Guests see a neutral “not available” page), and the Add-ons and Planner tools bought are switched off too. The Shared photo album becomes unavailable at once (no upload and no viewing); the files already uploaded are deleted at the end of the retention period in section 6.3, and if the Couple buys it again before then, it works again with the same link and QR code. The draft of the Invitation stays in the Account; if the Couple buys again later, it works again with the same link.
Before you buy, the Watermarked preview shows exactly what you receive.
9. Conformity and statutory rights
- The Provider is responsible for the Invitation matching the Watermarked preview (without the watermark) and for working during the availability period in current versions of common browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) on phones and computers.
- If there is a defect, the Couple can first ask for it to be repaired free of charge. If that is not possible, or the Provider does not repair it within a reasonable time, the Couple can ask for a price reduction or end the contract.
- Not a defect: an error in data typed in by the Couple; content approved by the Couple; a fault in the Guest’s device, browser or network.
- Defects can be reported at [email protected]. The Provider records the report and informs you of the repair by e-mail.
- These Terms do not limit the statutory rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country, in particular those under Directive (EU) 2019/770 on digital content and digital services, as transposed in your country.
10. Intellectual property, references
- The templates, animations, code and graphics belong to the Provider (or its licensors). The Couple receives a non-exclusive right of personal use for the availability period. This includes sharing the link of the Invitation and printing the QR card.
- References: the Provider may show the Couple’s Invitation publicly only with the Couple’s separate, express consent, and then without Guest data. The default is: no.
11. Liability
- The Provider is liable for damage caused by a breach of contract under the applicable law.
- The Provider is not liable for damage resulting from wrong data given by the Couple, content uploaded by the Couple, a fault in a Guest’s device or internet connection, or a fault in the service of a third party (a messaging app, an e-mail provider).
- Towards a consumer, liability can be limited only as far as the mandatory law allows. It cannot be limited for intentional or grossly negligent breach, or for damage to life, bodily integrity or health.
12. Complaints and dispute resolution
- Complaints: by e-mail at [email protected] or by post to the registered office (2700 Cegléd, Külső-Jászberényi út 2., Hungary). The Provider answers a written complaint in writing, with reasons, within 30 days; it records an oral complaint.
- EU online dispute resolution platform: the EU Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025 (Regulation (EU) 2024/3228). We therefore do not give a link to it.
- Out-of-court settlement: if the Provider rejects a complaint, a consumer may turn to a conciliation board or other consumer dispute body. The body for the Provider’s registered office is the Pest County Conciliation Board (Pest Vármegyei Békéltető Testület), 1055 Budapest, Balassi Bálint u. 25. IV/2., Hungary, [email protected], +36 1 792 7881. The Provider cooperates with the conciliation board.
- Help in your country: if you live in another EU country, you can ask the European Consumer Centre in your country (the ECC-Net network) for free help with a cross-border complaint. You find your centre at https://www.eccnet.eu/contact-your-local-ecc.
- The consumer can always go to the consumer protection authority or to a court.
13. Governing law and courts
- The contract is governed by Hungarian law. If you are a consumer living in another EU country, this choice of law does not take away the protection that the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence give you (Article 6(2) of Regulation (EC) No 593/2008, Rome I). The Provider directs its activity to the countries where it offers the website in the local language and currency, so these mandatory provisions apply to you.
- This applies in the same way to the mandatory rules on consumer information, withdrawal and conformity.
- You can bring a claim against the Provider before the courts of your country of residence, and the Provider can bring a claim against you only before the courts of that country (Regulation (EU) No 1215/2012, Articles 17 to 19).
14. Final provisions
- The Provider publishes an amendment of these Terms on the website at least 8 days before it takes effect. An amendment does not affect contracts already made.
- If a provision of these Terms is invalid under the mandatory law of your country, the rest of the Terms stays valid, and the mandatory provision applies in its place.
Annex 1 - Data processing terms (Article 28 GDPR) - Guest data
-
Parties: the Couple is the controller. The operator of Envelopio, Virágszekér Kft., is the processor.
-
Subject matter and duration: operating the Invitation and the replies, and the purchased Shared photo album, from going live until the deletion in point 6.

-
Processing on instructions: the Provider processes the data only on the documented instructions of the Couple (the settings of the Account and the content of the Invitation). It does not use the data for its own purposes (marketing, analytics, profiling). On the Invitation pages there are no analytics or marketing cookies and no tracking code (see the Cookie notice).
-
Retention and deletion:
- The Provider deletes the Guest data (including food allergy data) automatically and permanently on the 90th day after the day of the wedding. The Invitation itself stays available for 12 months after the wedding, without replies. The data disappears from the backup restore points of the database within 30 days at the latest.

- The Couple is responsible for downloaded files.
-

Sub-processors: the Couple gives a general authorisation for the following. The Provider informs the Couple of a new sub-processor in advance on the website and by e-mail, and the Couple may object.

-
Assistance: at the Couple’s request, the Provider deletes or corrects within 5 working days. It forwards a Guest’s request that reaches it directly to the Couple and helps to fulfil it on the Couple’s instruction.
-
Incident: the Provider tells the Couple about a personal data breach affecting Guest data without undue delay and at the latest within 48 hours of becoming aware of it.
-
Confidentiality and audit: the Provider’s staff are bound to confidentiality. On request, the Provider gives the information that shows compliance.
-
End of the contract: when the contract ends, the Provider lets the Couple download the data, as chosen by the Couple, then deletes it and confirms the deletion by e-mail on request.
