How it opens
The guest opens the old gilded storybook, a paper-cut castle, trees and clouds rise from between its pages, and at the front a ribbon unfurls with your names.
A cloth-bound, gilded storybook that opens in the guest’s hands: from the fold, a painted paper scene rises layer by layer, with a castle on a hill, fluttering flags and a winding road. Then, chapter by chapter, come the big day, the venue, the questions and the RSVP, and at the end: ‘…and they lived happily ever after.’
