Message in a Bottle

How it opens

An old green glass bottle drifts onto the sunlit shore; the guest pulls out the cork, the paper scroll slides out and unrolls: this is the invitation.

Waves run up the sand and bring a scroll tied with string, inside an old glass bottle. The cork pops out, the paper unrolls, and on it, handwritten, are your names, the date and the venue. Further down, the day’s schedule follows a wavy line, and the RSVP is a letter in reply.
